I created a survey using Google Forms. My survey was titled "Your Child's Bedtime Routine." I sent the survey to 3 mothers that I know. They all have children that are in school, and the object was to see how many students eat dinner at a "normal" time, how many hours of sleep they are getting, and so forth. I really enjoyed using the application. Very nifty! I will probably utilize it as much as I can, as I go forth in my career.

Unable to Attend Class
As I have been advised to assume life as a "couch potato", this is more challenging than one may think! With school, a 3 year old, a husband, a house and all that it entails, this is nearly impossible. Also, I am trying to teach these assignments to myself. I am beginning to realize that reading or hearing about the assignment is more a task than actually doing it. Once I start to get into the actual process, it becomes more comprehensive. Now, on to the survey that was assigned on 12/1.

Presentation
It appears as though I did get my presentation to submit to YouTube. However, the sound is not working. Now, before I post my graphing assignment I would appreciate any and all info that anyone can provide. Thank you

Presentation/Update!
As I have been in and out of the hospital, I have now published my presentation. I truly enjoyed working on this by myself, and feel as though I have gained a lot of knowledge on creating a wide array of presentations! This will prove to be beneficial in my career because I will be able to include different realms of instruction through presentations, so that my students are not always learning the same way!

Posts from 10/18 & 10/20
Welllll, my computer is just now allowing me to publish any form of a post. With that said, my reflection on this assignment is not good.
Basically, I felt as though I did not know what was actually expected of us. And, I know I am not the only one because I had fellow classmates and peers from the TR class that called me asking me questions as to what was expected from this assignment.
I chose to do this topic because Health Education required a similar project, and I decided to double dip!
While this is probably not the best issue to address to the students I plan to teach (inmates), it is good for elementary students. With this lesson, I would also do the flouride experiment where the students are able to see the bacteria in their mouth.

ISTE NETS: 2. c.
WHY? I chose ISTE NETS T 2. c. because this is the standard that allows the teacher to present material in a different format for different learning styles. A powerpoint presentation can provide students with a break from the textbook and chalkboard. It also provides visual learners with a more in depth look into the subject, as well as some possible images to reinforce the ideas.

Powerpoint Presentation Questions
After reading over our assignment, I am not sure that I really understand what is expected of our presentation. I read the required readings and the instructions for our presentation, I am just unsure as to what our presentation should really accomplish.
